7-Steps Away From a Fabulous Gig As A Professional Organizer!
We train new professional organizers to become the best in the industry. In order to ensure we select professional organizers that fit our company culture, we have designed the following 7-Step Interview Process.
Step 1. Please be certain to review the Major Organizers website thoroughly prior to submitting your online application. It is important to us that you understand, respect and honor the Major Organizers method, vision, mission, and values. Don’t skip this step. When we interview you, we expect that you have spent time on our website getting to know us.
Step 2. Go to “Apply Now” button below to start the application process. This application process is divided in to several part. You will submit the online application, then you will be asked to email us your resume. (If you do not have a resume, create a very basic one to send. It need not be award-winning, we just want to know what you have been up to for the last 5-30 years.)
Step 3. Virtual Home Evaluation. We want to make sure you “Walk the Talk of a Major Mom Liberator”. We are not looking for perfection in your home. We just need proof that you value being organized. You will send in photos of three or more areas of your home that you feel exemplify your organizing talents. Again, we are not training people how to organize their home, we are training people how to organize a client’s home.
Step 4. References Checked.
Step 5. Virtual Video Interview with the founder of Major Mom Academy. (30 minutes – 1 hour). If you are a good fit, you will be offered a slot to attend the Major Mom Academy.
Step 6. Attend Virtual Major Mom Academy Orientation via Zoom with Angela Cody-Rouget (aka Major Mom). (30 minutes)
Step 7. All students must attend and complete the Major Mom Academy and have a clean background check to be listed on our website. There are several out of pockets expenses incurred during training, such as, office supplies and organizing supplies for your on-the-job training.
